The best way to make a difference in your child's education is to join the PTA and get involved.
There is a wide range of volunteer opportunities available for all Green families. The PTA relies on family volunteers to support many programs and events throughout the year.
Whether you can volunteer an hour a week or an hour a year, Green is grateful for your time and support!
This year, we're taking a slightly different approach. In addition to opportunities to commit to specific events or programs, we are also building a volunteer database. This will allow us to reach out when needs arise and connect with families who may be available and interested in helping at that time.

To volunteer at Green, you must complete the Allen ISD volunteer application and receive an approved background check.

Important: All Allen ISD volunteers are required to renew their background check with the district every school year, regardless of previous approval status*.
Potential volunteer opportunities
Please note that we are still finalizing our calendar for the year and these dates may change. As volunteer needs arise expect an email from our VP of Volunteers with an event/need specific sign-up link.

*Allen ISD requires that all volunteers complete the volunteer process each school year. You will be able to use the same USER ID and PASSWORD each year that you apply. For the following school year, the application must be submitted after July 1. Once the application is processed and the criminal background check is complete, you will receive an email notification regarding your application from the Allen ISD Human Resources department. This can take up to 2 weeks.
