Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 7:30 - 9:30 A.M.
Green Elementary PTA, staff, and students will honor our veteran guests during our Annual Veterans Day Celebration! On Veterans Day, we proudly thank and honor all who have served in the United States military, whether during wartime or peacetime.
This special event is expected to include:
- A welcome reception
- Flag-raising ceremony
- Veterans parade through the school
- Veteran introductions by our students
- A musical performance by Green Elementary's 6th Grade Choir
Event Information
We look forward to welcoming our veterans to Green Elementary for this special celebration.
Veterans attending in person will be greeted in the Green Elementary Cafeteria on the morning of Wednesday, November 11, at 7:30 a.m. Please enter through the cafeteria entrance and check in at our Welcome Table upon arrival.
Students who are bringing a veteran guest to the parade should first report to their classroom and check in with their teacher before the 7:45 a.m. bell. After checking in, students may join their honored guest in the cafeteria for the program.
Please note, planning for this special event is currently underway. The information above reflects our anticipated schedule and activities but is subject to change as details are finalized. Please check this website regularly for the most up-to-date event information.
Know a Veteran?
Do you have a parent, grandparent, relative, or family friend who has served in the military? We would be honored to recognize them during our annual Veterans Day Parade!
Please complete our veteran registration form HERE so we can include them in this special celebration as we honor those who have served our country. Please note that Veterans are not required to attend in order for them to be honored in our Veterans Day Slideshow. You are also not limited on the number of Veterans you are able to honor. Please use the link to register your Veteran and in the form you can indicate if they will be attending the celebration and/or just being honored in the slideshow.
Good news: If you have submitted photos in previous years, there is no need to resubmit them. Those images will automatically be included in this year's slideshow.
Thank you for helping us celebrate and recognize the service and sacrifice of our military heroes.
