Flossie Floyd Green Elementary Alumni Scholarship Program

The Flossie Floyd Green Elementary Alumni Scholarship Program was established to recognize former Green students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, perseverance, and a commitment to continuing their education. Through these scholarships, our Green PTA strives to support student success beyond elementary school while strengthening the connection between Green and its alumni. Unlike many local elementary schools, who allow Allen ISD district to handle their scholarship grants, Green PTA manages this internally to ensure our scholarships go back to our former Flossie Floyd students. 

Funded through the generosity of our PTA budget, multiple one-time scholarships are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who attended Green Elementary for at least one full school year. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational school. Scholarship awards are a minimum of $500.

Students may apply for multiple scholarship categories but are eligible to receive only one scholarship award. In addition, all applicants are automatically considered for the Exemplary Explorer Award.

Below are the Scholarships that were available last year along with the awarded 2025-2026 recipients. 

Exemplary Explorer - Hillel Maror

Every student who applies for a scholarship is automatically entered for consideration for the Exemplary Explorer Award. This award is presented to the student who most embodies the spirit of Flossie Floyd Green Elementary and demonstrates outstanding character, leadership, academic dedication, and service to others.

Green Scholar - Saanavi Shah 
Celebrates a student who has achieved academic excellence while successfully completing

rigorous and challenging coursework.

Green Glow and Grow - Hannah Showalter
Recognizes a student who has demonstrated resilience and perseverance by overcoming adversity while pursuing their educational goals.

Green Leads the Way - Brady Leach
Awarded to a student who has demonstrated leadership and active involvement in school-sponsored clubs, UIL activities, athletics, or other extracurricular programs.

Green Gives Back - Ellie Jaubert
Honors a student who has made a meaningful impact through community service, volunteerism, and philanthropic efforts.

Through these scholarships, Green Elementary PTA is proud to invest in the future of our former Green Foxes as they pursue higher education and prepare to make a positive impact in their communities. Thanks to the generosity of our current families, PTA members, sponsors, and fundraising efforts, we are able to continue this meaningful tradition of supporting student success beyond elementary school. We look forward to helping future generations of Green Foxes achieve their educational goals for many years to come.
