SaferCampus

As part of Allen ISD’s commitment to keeping our campuses safe, a new security and visitor check-in system is now in place across all Allen ISD campuses.

To enter the building beyond the front desk, all visitors must check in, scan a government-issued photo ID, have their photo taken, and wear a visitor badge. This applies whether you are:

  • Volunteering on campus
  • Visiting your student for lunch
  • Attending a teacher conference
  • Visiting for another school-related reason

As we get accustomed to our new system, we are finding that scanned IDs are not always being saved to the system consistently. To help avoid delays at check-in, we recommend bringing your photo ID with you each time you visit campus.

Volunteers:

If you plan to volunteer at Green Elementary, you must complete the Allen ISD Volunteer Background Check and receive approval before volunteering on campus. Please note that volunteer background checks reset every August 1 and must be completed each school year.

When volunteering, you will need to check in as a volunteer upon arrival. Our visitor management system is connected directly to the Allen ISD volunteer database. If your background check has not been completed and approved, you will not be permitted to enter campus as a volunteer.

Avoid delays and ensure you're ready to volunteer by completing your background check today! Thank you for helping support our students, teachers, and school community.
